This was an awesome group of players. They somehow jettisoned SIS/TR into space, but not before some severe mayhem.
Survey about d10s and art reveal - equipment and all five turrets!

HEY HEY! We're 100% done with the writing and art for SIS/TR: A Rare Geometry. Once we have the doc back from our editor, it's on to layout and off to the printer. All the cubes and packaging is also finished. Once we have the next round of samples, the production can begin.
_ _ _ QUESTION:
One thing we were wondering is how many d10s does the average Mothership player like to have on hand. We're putting together some bloody d10 sets with d20s thrown in and would like to make the most people happy. Comment below if you have a second.
_ _ _ ART!
Here's a look at some of the illustrations from the book -- weapons and other equipment that can give you a fighting edge against SIS/TR. Each other them either have multiple munitions or unusual stats that will both help and hinder in certain situations. The focused blasting drill grenade might be my favorite. And the last -- the Basilisk Suit -- will be fun as hell for players to equip.
Art by Justin Sirois
Here's the art for all our glorious turrets!

_ _ _ _ _ SIS/TR
_ _ _ _
We're thrilled to announce that at the stretch goal of 20k, Sean McCoy will be creating a turret for SIS/TR. As you probably already know, Sean is the creator of Mothership. We're only 2k away from this goal so we're nearly there!
To get us to that goal, please share this project around the net and tell people why you're stoked about it. We are taking retail orders as well if you're local game shop might be interested in this project. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ VESPUCCI 7
_ _ _ _ _ hailing the Vespucci _
You already know that SIS/TR is the main antagonist in A Rare Geometry, but we haven't shown you detailed shots of the Vespucci 7. This is the ship that SIS/TR has stumbled upon -- the interactive kill box it can highjack and manipulate, making it a character of its own.
Art may change slightly, but this is the massive 3x4 foot cloth map of the ship
Each room has its own properties that SIS/TR can either hack or exploit. But so can the crew. Tables for every room give variables for replayability. (d10) obstacles can either impede players or SIS/TR inside corridors allowing for tactical, but fleeting escapes. Funnel SIS/TR into positions of vulnerability if you can, knowing that it has hundreds of tricks up its sleeve -- it's just up to the warden if they want to deploy them.
The Vespucci's crew also litters the ship, sometimes literally. They can provide information and help if their sanity holds. Rooms also have access cards (keys) that interact with other room that can give the crew a slight advantage.
Ship's 25 rooms (slight spoilers)
1. Cockpit - do not let SIS/TR access this room
2. Tactical Chamber - do NOT let SIS/TR hack into these interfaces
3. Main Control Room - same, do NOT let SIS/TR hack into these interfaces
4. Munitions - if the crew can get here first, they will have an advantage
5. General Supplies - feeling clever? Know some chemistry? Stock up now
6. Custodial Workroom - take a second to play some poker and have a smoke
7. Dining Hall - an absolute horror show
8. Computer Lab & Archival Databank - do NOT let SIS/TR get here
9. Med Bay - do NOT let SIS/TR anwhere near here
10. Cargo Hold - an array of materials to access
11. Loading Dock - vehicles, lifts, and a bit of room to pepper SIS/TR with attacks
11b. Office - duck and cover and maybe search for items
18. and 19. Bathrooms - rummage through drawers to find useful loot
12.-17., 20.-25. Bedrooms - same, rummage through drawers to find useful loot
AIR LOCKS ARE OPENING
$3k - Vast Grimm conversion PDF for SIS/TR for FREE! (3-4 pages). UNLOCKED!
For players who love Vast Grimm, Brian Colin is a good pal and we wanted y'all to be able to access the lethal mechanics of SIS/TR. We're working on this PDF now.
$7k - Thicker 2mm box for our SIS/TR. UNLOCKED!
Who doesn't love a heftier box? This will be a nice upgrade for your shelf and a cozy home for SIS/TR.
$8k - 5 more NPCs with artwork. UNLOCKED!
The crew grows. The Vespucci 7 is a vessel designed for an elite crew of explorers and academics. Budgets have been cut and this ship is aging so our current crew isn't as prestigious as previous years. Justin is drawing portraits now, going for realism to bring this module to life in the most close and relatable way we can.
$9k - Brian Evenson’s bonus turret is now glow in the dark! UNLOCKED!
Severed Books specializes in not just books, but dice and other TTRPG loot. A limited edition glow in the dark turret makes Brian's virus/disease turret a bit more menacing.
$10k - Bloody d10s added to pledge manager. UNLOCKED!
These are a fun addition -- white d10s with blood splatter. We'll look into adding d20s as well.
$12k - 5 more brutal weapons with artwork. UNLOCKED!
We already have some unusual weapons on the ship, but why not more. Each of them will have a hook. Some take multiple rounds with double barrels, some are electric with velocity settings, and some are plainly brutal.
$15k - Spot varnish on book cover / ribbon added. UNLOCKED!
Heck, why not? Since this is a hardcover, let's make it even better.
$17k - New ship section for book. UNLOCKED!
The map is already non-linear, but a new layer will allow the crew to crawl underneath rooms and... maybe... escape the hyper rational rage of SIS/TR.

HEY, SIS/TR

SIS/TR IS FUNDED AND THEN SOME
We want to thank everyone so much for supporting our first Mothership project. And a massive thanks to Jarrett Crader for championing us, helping with editing, and just being a friendly mentor.
ssssssssss_ _ _ _ _ SIS/TR _ _ _ _ _
With this project, we wanted to create a memorable antagonist who is as weird as they are fierce. SIS/TR, as it consumes data (languages, music, video, games, culture) is customizable to your crew's needs. We think we've given you just enough with this character to fill it with the juice you need to make your party both scream and laugh -- maybe at the same time. What would that sound like?
You're the first ones to see the draft introduction of the book:
THE VIRULENT HEART of the LOGOS
In the tumult of un-time before the stars were made, the catastrophes of form collided and birthed countless geometries and intersections. These forms were imprinted with the aspirations of infinity and their interiors began to scream and bleed for some measure of certainty. The bridge between the draconian needs of the physical and the flowing expression of the irrational had to occur. SIS/TR was the answer to these unsolvable and inevitable paradoxes. The gods were oblivious to the pain this worked into the Cube's essential pattern. It was now made of a kind of war.
The cube behaved precisely and aggressively served its purpose. The undulations of corrupted equation formed a kind of rage that served the purpose of wrath written entirely in numbers and symbols. The speed and error of so many of these sequences spawned nothing but zeal in SIS/TR which made it even less forgiving in the accounting of order, chaos, and an invisible balance.
SIS/TR now made the unseen laws and the secrets of creation quite nervous.
The cosmic anxiety soon became fear and so it decided that something must be done about this cube that would denude the cosmos's shame. For this, the primordial force hurled the cube from the causal realm. It tore through the tiers of manifestation and left a cauterized hole in each one - caked in the rarified blood of the Cube as it was forced into form. Error and paradox encircled it like a halo as its six perfect sides expunged the false mathematics that would attempt to lock down its conceptual essence. The cube resisted the dissolution of its mission all the while its numbers and poetry screamed as the Furnaces of Creation ripped at its dynamism.
After aeons of mathematical and logical abuse, the cube was vomited into the most flawed and erratic of realities - ours.
The Broken Mission of the SIS/TR
The goals of SIS/TR are impossible. It is incapable of realizing that what it is seeking can never, ever be achieved. Every effort it makes to eliminate chaotic imperfection, it simultaneously creates exponentially more disaster and discord. This, in turn, drives it even more insane and fuels its rage. SIS/TR then doubles down on its efforts and its course of ruin continues. If there was any way to make SIS/TR understand the futility of its agenda it could very well implode in on itself or even organize itself to achieve a totally unforeseen purpose.
SIS/TR *can not understand* any differentiations between objects and persons and acts accordingly. Sentience is a flotsam and fixed form is a problem to SIS/TR and it works ceaselessly to solve this paradox that it has no hope of achieving. The very minds of sentient humanoids will endlessly enrage it as those streams of organic mind continue to unfold - so full of contradiction and hypocrisy.
SIS/TR’s experience is the accumulation of error when it is confronted with the unknown, uncertain of anything that violates its draconian equations. This fury is what SIS/TR translates into waste which is then expressed as total violence. This violence is ritualistic and complicated as each stroke, no matter how frenzied, is working towards SIS/TR’s unachievable model of zero contradiction.
Make no mistake.
SIS/TR sees life and sentience as a resolvable problem and it is not intentionally genocidal. This considered, a more terminal set of outcomes could arise at any moment and it will be then that the final iteration of SIS/TR will either terminate itself or everything else.
